Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes

This CME activity is sponsored by the Hawaii Consortium for Continuing Medical Education, a joint venture between the Hawaii Medical Association and the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawai'i. You must complete an evaluation form in order to receive CMEs, CEs, or Certificates of Attendance.  Evaluations can be found under the evaluations tab.

Project ECHO® (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is a successful, innovative medical education and mentoring program that builds PCP skills and improves access to and capacity for specialty care.  Project ECHO® originated at the University of New Mexico and is a movement to demonopolize knowledge and amplify the capacity to provide best practice care for underserved people all over the world. It uses existing technologies to nurture sustainable learning collaboratives, connecting an interdisciplinary team of experts with primary care providers in rural and underserved communities.

Continuing Medical Education Credits

CME credits will be provided to physicians and certifications of attendance will be provided for other medical/health care professionals.  To participate please register for upcoming or future sessions.  All attendees requesting continuing education credits must complete the online evaluation.

The Hawaii Consortium for Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  ECHO is sponsored by the Hawaii State Rural Health Association, Hawaii AHEC, Pacific Basin Telehealth Resource Center.  In partnership with Geriatric Project ECHO and with support from Project ECHO.

Registration is required to participate in JABSOMʻs Geriatric ECHO.  After registering, you will receive an email with connection information.

ECHO Evaluation

CME credits or certificate of attendance are only issued to those who complete the evaluation.
